Plain-English Guide: How Kenyan SMC Traders Use Currency Strength
One of the biggest mistakes retail traders make is pairing two strong currencies together (like buying GBP/USD when both GBP and USD are ranked STRONG π’). When two currencies have similar strength, the chart moves sideways in unpredictable consolidation, triggering stop-losses on both sides.
Institutional Golden Rule: Always pair a STRONG π’ currency against a WEAK π΄ currency. For example, if the US Dollar (`USD`) is #1 on the meter and the Japanese Yen (`JPY`) is #8, institutional capital is flowing out of JPY and into USD.
